Routine of Baby Drinks and Breakfast:

It is advisable that the baby drinks at least six to eight glasses of water a day. The right amount of vitamins and minerals helps in proper growth of a baby. It is recommended that a baby should drink from one pouches a day. If possible it is preferred that the mother should breastfeed her baby as it helps in proper digestion of the food that has been consumed. The baby should not be given table salt as it causes excessive salivation leading to respiratory problems in the baby.


A proper diet that has all the necessary nutrients helps in easy digestion. The growth of the baby should be given proper time to develop properly. Foods rich in carbohydrates and protein can be included in the diet. Dairy products like milk, yoghurt, butter and cheese can also be included. It is a good idea to eat a balanced diet so that there is a balance of the essential nutrients and there is no dearth of essential vitamins and minerals.
